My solo exhibition When Water Runs Dry will open on October 16, 2025, at 8pm the National Gallery of the Republic of North Macedonia - Çifte Hamam.
This is my largest solo presentation to date, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of my very first exhibition. It will include old and new works that have been adapted to the space, a former Turkish bath.
Water is positioned as the central metaphor and narrative thread running through the exhibition – symbolising both life and renewal, as well as disappearance, memory and loss. The works open questions of architectural heritage, urban transformation, collective memory, and the ecology of space, intertwining personal narratives with broader social contexts.
The exhibition, curated by Dr Ana Frangovska, Senior Curator at the National Gallery, will run until November 11, 2025.
