Filling the Void is an audio guide created by the artist following a research residency at [PROSTOR] in March 2022. The work focuses on the beloved modernist building Kineski Zid, where [PROSTOR] is situated, as well as the surrounding structures designed by the same architect, Frano Gotovac. It offers information about the community buildings and invites the audience to discover, imagine, and embody the space.

Filling the Void is accessible to anyone using a mobile device. It places a new landmark on the tourist map of Split and is part of the permanent collection of [PROSTOR], allowing a diverse audience to engage with it beyond the typical short-term exhibition.

The piece is documented by video, further exploring the role of film in site-specific art and how documentation can itself become (part of) the original artwork.
